Female rights have been a controversial subject for too long a time. Even in the past few years, there have been numerous controversies surrounding the right a woman has over her own body. Our speaker will hold a presentation covering the multiple perspectives of the issue integrated into Romania’s current context. The talk will discuss how accessible abortion is in our country while also presenting the legal aspects surrounding it.
Andrada Cilibiu is a female rights activist and has been with the FILIA Center since 2019 as a PR and communications manager. The center promotes equal rights for all, without regard to gender, race, ethnicity, or religious beliefs, and wishes to make women’s voices heard.
Andrada has specialized in sexual and reproductive rights and is involved in advocacy and activism programs. She engages in community work and has done research in the field of reproductive health, with a focus on access to safe abortion and contraceptive methods. She graduated from The National School of Political and Administrative Studies, with a degree in Political and Governmental Sciences. She has also studied International Relations and Business at Alma Mater Studiorum of the University of Bologna.
She believes in a safe and fair society for women and girls and tries to contribute through her activism to a world where the voices of women matter.
