It must be aided by technology through laboratory findings and additional procedures in order to offer accurate diagnoses and to provide the appropriate care for all patients. Given the widespread benefits of technological advancements in other domains, it is only natural to wonder how they could further impact the medical field. Bianca Muntean’s talk will highlight the importance and advantages of digitalization in modern society, while also emphasizing the crucial need for cooperation between the IT and medical fields.
Bianca Muntean is the Honorary Consul of Estonia, co-founder and manager of the Transilvania IT cluster, with an experience of 25 years in creating and developing innovation ecosystems. She is the founder and coordinator of Transilvania Digital Innovation Hub, the first center for digital innovation in Romania. She is also the coordinator of the Digital Innovation Centers Association in Romania RO-DIH.
Our speaker is known to be one of the most relevant persons in the region and even in the country in the domain of innovation, digitalization, and technology. Bianca Muntean is a member of multiple Consultative Groups and Councils that deal with innovation and digital transformation at local, regional, national, and international levels. She strongly believes that the power of collaboration can generate systemic changes in both the economy and society.
Bianca received the title of EU Cluster Manager of the Year in 2019 from DG GROW within the European Commission and coordinates trans-sectoral collaborations throughout Europe. She also received the Prize for Open Innovation awarded by the Group for Strategy and Open Innovation Policies of the European Commission in 2017.
